Doluca DLC Series - Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot

Cabernet Sauvignon, a world famous noble varietal, is known as “the king of red grapes”. In DLC Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot, this grape variety with its powerful, tannic and full-bodied characteristics and the Merlot grape variety, with its smooth, easy to drink and fruity character, yield a balanced and well-structured wine. To reflect the fruit flavors at their maximum this wine was aged in 225 lt. French oak barrels for a period of only 6 months. The most full bodied wine of the DLC Series, DLC Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot invokes the aromas of black pepper, vanilla, raspberry, strawberry and almond.

Region: Thrace

Barrel ageing: 6 months in 225 lt. French oak barrels.

Storing: 4-5 years following the vintage date under ideal storage conditions.

Recommended with:
Roasted red meats, game, grilled red meats

Serving temperature: 16-18 C

Decanting 30 minutes prior to consumption is recommended.
